Writing Permanence Order (S80) Reports for Court
This workshop is aimed at supporting all social work practitioners who are involved in preparing and writing Section 80 Reports, including independent Reviewing Officers. The workshop will be beneficial to both practitioners who have never written a Section 80 Report and those who have and want to continue to develop their practice.
Section 80 reports are vital in reporting and presenting to the Sheriff why a Permanence Order (and potentially also adoption) is necessary and in the child’s best interests. The workshop will explore in detail the evidence that supports the threshold for permanence and how to best present it.
