Rethinking Family Time – Updated & revised
This workshop is aimed at Social Workers, Team Managers and Contact Supervisors or other professionals with a role in assessing, planning and supporting family time between children and significant others.
As Practitioners we are being asked to rethink family time so it feels more natural and informal for the child’s experience and move away from default positions in permanence to consider what direct or indirect contact can be beneficial for the child. This workshop will explore these themes, help us to think more openly and consider contact in the context of the UNCRC and what change the Promise hopes we will achieve.
