Research and Practice Webinar (Non Members Welcome)

AFKA Scotland are hosting a research and practice webinar which will focus on poverty and poverty aware practice.  We are delighted to bring together speakers from across research, policy, and practice to present on their work in this area.  Speakers are:

Professor Kate Morris and Professor Brigid Featherstone will present their work on poverty, poverty aware practice and child protection.

Satwat Rehman and Sarah Stewart, One Parent Families Scotland, will present on their report on poverty proofing families on the edge of care.

Jim Quinn, Team Leader, Glasgow City Council will present on his work mapping poverty and kinship care in Glasgow.
