Moving Children to Permanence through the Children’s Hearing
Around 90% of children with plans for adoption or Permanence Orders are subject to Compulsory Supervision Orders issued by the Children’s Hearings. Moving children into permanent placements is then dependent on the Hearing varying the CSO. Working within the legal process and preparing for the Hearing that will allow the move is a challenging aspect of the practitioner’s role. This workshop will support practitioners in addressing this and achieving the result which they have recommended.
This workshop is for children and family practitioners and managers as well as adoption and fostering social workers and managers and local authority solicitors.
